I was thrilled to receive a preview of the cover for In the Arms of the Enemy, my World War II romance novel to be published by The Wild Rose Press in 2010. You'll be hearing more about Isabella, Günter and Massimo in the coming months...
Beautiful cover! I wrote a book set at the end of World War II. It is being reissued called A Father's Hope. My hubby is retired Air Force. We were stationed 4 years in Berlin,Germany when the Wall was still up. Makes you appreciate our freedom. Judy :-)
Thanks, Judith! If you lived in Berlin when the Wall was still up, you will probably appreciate my previous post, "Something there is that doesn't love a wall" which I wrote following my recent trip to Berlin and Dresden. It's right beneath the post with my cover. Who's the publisher for your book? I'll have to take a look!
Lis, the cover is absolutely gorgeous! I am sooo excited for you. Do you have a date for publication. I'm trying to be a good girl and keep a running list of books I'd like to get in 2010.
Thanks, Santa! I have no idea about the publication date but am assuming sometime in 2010. We're still editing it, which will probably take at least a couple more months. Then it's up to the publisher. I would be honored to have In the Arms of the Enemy on your list! But don't worry, you will get plenty of notice before the release date. Lis
Lis, the cover art is lovely. It's lush and romantic, but tasteful, and definitely gives a subtle signpost leading into the story. It looks nice with the title in block-type letters (I can't think of the word), and your name in romantic curlicues. So exciting--I am happy for you. Elizabeth Palladino
Very nice blog! GREAT book presentation - looks fantabulous!!! I have never seen you before... You're a cutie pie... Not getting fresh, just complimenting...
